I've been having some recurring problems with the Trebuchet pouch, and I wanted to make one thing very clear that will help you a lot. Make sure the projectile is resting on top of one half of the pouch and the other half of the pouch is on top the projectile. If you try to launch with the pouch wrapped around the left and right side of your projectile it will rarely work right. Again, the trebuchet sling needs to up and down, not left and right. This should help you with some of the common trebuchet sling problems.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give this a try during my next firing, as I am having issues getting the projectile to release from the sling.
